Auditions for the Inside Out Dance Ensemble are being held Jan. 20 in the H Building in Room H-139.
Auditions will take place on Jan. 20 at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Jan. 21 at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
IODA is a club on campus that is performance-based, much like the Agora Chorale and the College/Community Symphony Band.
Kellie Lajiness, dance director, said there is no dress code for auditions or any specific dance shoes.
“For auditions for this group, I usually do a modern dance warm-up, I will also do ballet barre and we do traveling work, and then repertoire,” Lajiness said. “So they’ll usually learn something that’s already been part of our repertoire or if I’m working on something new.”
Lajiness said if someone misses auditions and still wants to be a part of the club, they can reach out to her and can still join.
