The Agora changed its website Sept. 6.
The website, mcccagora.com, went from a clunky custom Uloop content management system to a more visually pleasing, streamlined system using WordPress.
With WordPress, the Agora is able to better cater to its audience with a more reliable system that hosts better capabilities for video, audio and photo options to bolster stories.
Todd Salisbury, editor of the Agora, said he looks forward to utilizing the new site.
In addition to the website, the Agora’s first edition for the fall 2019 semester will be through a new printing company called Stafford out of Greenville, Mich.
Stafford publishes the Daily News as well as the Carson City Gazette.
The new change will mean a slightly smaller-dimensioned paper. However, the paper will be in full color. The change was due to a scheduling conflict with the Adrian Daily Telegram, the company that previously printed the Agora.
