MCCC Registrar Tracy Vogt released enrollment figures for the 2018 Winter semester Friday morning, and with 2953 students signed up for 23,022 credit hours, the numbers are once again down.

Going into Winter 2017, MCCC had 3,055 students taking 24,258 credit hours.

When compared with Winter 2017, there has been a 3.3% drop in the number of students enrolled, as well as a 5.1% drop in billable credit hours this semester.

MCCC is not alone in this, however.

Minus a few exceptions, enrollment at community colleges all across the state has declined.
