The People of a Poisoned City: Testimonials from the people of Flint, MI

The current Flint water crisis is something I've been very passionate about. I've covered it more than any other topic at the Agora, but even with  how much I have covered it – it still seemed distant, like it wasn't my problem because it wasn't happening in my backyard. That was until I met some of the Flint delegation at Michigan Youth in Government. Each story they told us was more harrowing than the last, and I know I'm not the only one who felt that way.
In an attempt to help raise awareness and make it clear that this shouldn't just disappear, I interviewed and recorded several members of that delegation and created this video.
These are the people of Flint. The people whose lives were turned upside down by the bad decision making of their local and state government. I created this video because we've all heard plenty from the politicians – now it's time to hear from the people.

A political look at this crisis.
