A congressional candidate debate will take place in the Meyer Theater at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 20, and there are only a few tickets remaining for faculty and students.
U.S. Representative John D. Dingell (D) of Dearborn and Dr. Rob Steele (R) of Washtenaw are planning on debating in front of a live audience. The event will be presented by the MCCC Student Government and the staff of The Agora.
The candidates are set to answer questions from the audience. Questions will be selected by MCCC President Dr. David Nixon, the moderator of the event. All questions must be submitted by 6:15 p.m. that night. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m.
If you would like to find tickets for the event, contact your Political Party’s headquarters, as MCCC’s supply is limited.
