The Respiratory Therapy Program will host a flu shot clinic at the gymnasium of the Welch Health Education Building Monday, Sept. 9, MCCC announced.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is for students, employees and the community.
Flu shots will be administered by trained CVS pharmacists.
To get a flu shot you must bring an ID card as well as an insurance card if available. Anyone under 18 must have parental consent to be vaccinated the announcement said.
The influenza virus, more commonly called the flu, affects the United States annually and is most common between late fall and early spring, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
