Business professional attire drive

Donating unwanted “work” attire could help jump start someone else’s future.

If you’ve been thinking of parting ways with that two sizes too small dress, or the rack of ties that sits in the back of your closet, now is the perfect time.

The MCCC Community Service Club has made it easy to both free up closet space and potentially help change a life.

Starting Monday Oct. 2 and running through Friday Oct. 6, the club will be collecting new and gently used business attire in the A Building Admissions Office.

The donated clothes will be distributed to community members in need of apparel for work, job interviews, etc.

Business appropriate attire includes such items as suits, dress slacks and shirts, blazers, blouses, sweaters, dresses, skirts, and all types of professional shoes.

If you have any questions about the donations being accepted, please contact Financial Aid Assistant Allison Gallardo at 734-384-4138.
